At a ceremony November
1, Cipher was awarded
one of the 2007 Northrop
Grumman Socio-Economic
Supplier Excellence
Awards. Cipher was one
of only eleven firms
selected out of a field
of over 6,000 active
Northrop Grumman
suppliers.
The Supplier Excellence
Awards recognize
outstanding suppliers in
four categories:
services suppliers,
development suppliers,
production suppliers and
socio-economic
suppliers. The selected
suppliers met the
highest criteria for
delivery, quality, cost
and schedule management,
and customer
satisfaction.
Cipher is noted by
Northrop Grumman for
providing novel
solutions to challenging
knowledge management
problems. On one recent
project, Cipher boosted
performance on a
document scanning task
by tenfold, by
incorporating best of
class commercial
solutions and developing
new software whose
solution was not yet on
the market.
Cipher's Vice President
