The AD Little matrix is very similar to the Hofer-Schendel matrix. It is also a portfolio planning system based on the two dimensions of competitive position and industry maturity. The difference between the two matrices lies in the orientation of the x and y-axis and the number of divisions on these axes. The AD Little matrix will be discussed separately.
